Flag life depends on weather and care. In typical climates, a Fine Line Flag 210 denier nylon flag lasts 6–12 months of daily flying. In high-wind, coastal, or desert areas, rotation or seasonal replacement every 3–6 months keeps colors bright. Many customers extend life well beyond a year by lowering the flag in storms and following our Flag Care Guide.
Wash in cold water with mild detergent and air-dry. Avoid bleach or tumble dryers. Fold respectfully and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
A 3×5 ft flag looks proportionate on 15–20 ft poles — ideal for homes, schools, and small businesses. Taller poles (25 ft +) pair best with a 4×6 or 5×8 ft flag.
Our Retire & Refresh Program sends you a fresh FMAA-certified flag every 3, 6, or 12 months — timed around patriotic holidays. Each delivery includes care tips and an optional pre-paid mailer so your old flag can be retired with dignity by veteran organizations.
Yes — Fine Line Flag partners with GovX to offer verified discounts for veterans, active-duty military, and first responders as a thank-you for their service.
We’re a family-owned, Eagle Scout-led small business that works only with certified American manufacturers. Every flag we sell is 100% Made in the USA — no imports, no shortcuts, and no foreign assembly.
The FMAA certification seal guarantees that every component — fabric, thread, dye, and grommets — is 100% sourced and manufactured in the United States under the U.S. Textile & Wool Acts. It prevents “assembled in USA” mislabeling and ensures your flag is authentically American.
