    About Fine Line Flag

Fine Line Flag was born out of necessity — and respect.

In 2015, after being disappointed with the quality of flags available on the market, we decided to take matters into our own hands. What started as a passion project to make better flags turned into a full-time mission to restore honor, craftsmanship, and American values in every stitch.

Our mission is simple: make the best American flags in the country using American materials and American hands, because the flag deserves better.

    • 100% Made in the USA (FMAA Certified American Flags)
    • All-weather nylon & embroidered stars
    • Quad-stitched fly ends for durability
    • Midwest manufacturing + real people behind every order
    • Customer-first service (no outsourced call centers)

Whether you’re honoring a loved one, flying your flag daily, or buying for your local firehouse, we make sure your flag is worthy of what it represents.

Built to Honor. Built to Last.

Also in 2015, we were searching for a durable, well-made flag to honor law enforcement officers. What we found fell short. The materials were thin. The stitching was weak. The craftsmanship didn't match the sacrifice it was meant to represent.

    So we designed our own.

Our original Thin Blue Line Flag featured embroidered stars and individually sewn stripes — built with the same strength and integrity it was meant to symbolize. What started as a single solution quickly became something bigger.

The response to our first flag was immediate. Families, departments, and communities were looking for products that reflected pride and durability — not mass-produced shortcuts.

We expanded to include the Thin Red Line Flag to honor firefighters, and then grew into decals, apparel, drinkware, wall art, and other flag-inspired pieces.

Today, we proudly offer American-made American flags built with the same attention to detail: quality materials, reinforced stitching, and construction designed for long-term outdoor display. Every American flag (not novelty flag) meets the standards of the Flag Manufacturers Association of America (FMAA) — the industry benchmark for genuine American-made quality.

    More Than a Product

A flag is not just fabric and thread. It represents service, sacrifice, history, and identity. Whether displayed at home, at a business, or at a public building, it should reflect respect in both meaning and craftsmanship.

That standard guides everything we create — and extends to the communities we support through our charity partnerships and our ongoing commitment to Running 4 Heroes.

We Listen — And We Evolve

Over the years, customers began asking an important question: "When my flag wears out, do you take it back?"

That question led to one of our most meaningful innovations. We developed the Retire & Refresh subscription model — a simple way to ensure your flag is always displayed in proper condition, while also honoring it with respectful retirement when its service is complete.

Instead of replacing a worn flag only after it becomes faded or frayed, members receive a new flag on a regular schedule and can return the old one for proper retirement. It's a way to maintain a dignified display without uncertainty about timing or disposal.

Many of our best ideas come directly from the people who fly our flags. We believe ownership doesn't end at purchase — it's an ongoing responsibility, and we are proud to support that commitment.

If you have suggestions or products you'd like to see, we would genuinely love to hear from you.
